Professor Ahmed Attia started his journey with Abu Dhabi University in Spring Semester AY 22-23 as a Professor of Supply Chain Management in The Academic Programs for Military Colleges, Alain Campus. He previously held academic appointments in three countries, and leadership positions at University of Business and Technology, KSA. Before joining ADU, he worked at University of Business and Technology, KSA. Professor Ahmed received his PhD degree from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2010, and Masters in Operations Management from the Alexandria University in 2004, and Bachelors from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1998. Professor Ahmed has a rich research career, with almost 16 research papers. He has mentored several post-graduate students and research fellows in Egypt and KSA. Professor Ahmed holds several memberships in professional societies and serves as a reviewer and guest editor in severalinternational journals. His main goal is to add value to The Academic Programs for Military Colleges, through integration of competent teaching, state of-the-art research, and community outreach. He strongly believes that excellent teaching must equip students with the needed skills for lifelong learning. Hebelieves that all students are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education and his role is to assist the students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well embrace the differences of others.
