Apoorva is a blend of core academics and administration with demonstrated competencies across the spectrum of higher education domain. She has a vast experience in teaching and research for the past 17 years. Currently employed as an Assistant Professor in Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT), Pune under Symbiosis International (Deemed University), She has published over 14 research papers in Scopus/WoS and UGC Care indexed, book chapters, case studies in international journals and currently an active member of Pune Management Association in Centre for Academic Excellence. Through her role as a Board of Studies member at the University level, she has contributed to various aspects of the academic ecosystem. Her expertise lies in curriculum design, accreditation preparation processes for academic institutions, Academic and Administration Audits, Quality Improvement in education, New Program development, industry-academia interaction. She is also a reviewer of Emerald Publishing group for Emerging Market Case Studies, UK.She has also been reviewer for conferences in India and abroad. She has also been an evaluator for the Smart India Hackathon organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. She is also the Quality Improvement and Assurance coordinator for the institution sine 13 years. She has a strong blend of administration and academic capabilities with a skill set in end-to-end process execution. She was a part of the mentoring program for institutions for accreditation processes through the UGC- Paramarsh scheme. She had also conducted training sessions, workshops and faculty enhancement and upgradation programs for the faculty members in and out of the institution. She has also conducted training session on quality improvement for the staff members. She has acquired a silver medal in the IIT Bombay’s MOOC course on Designing Learner Centric MOOCS and delivered extensive sessions for 5 batches on developing learner centric content. She has successfully mentored 10 editions of TeDx events and Entrepreneurship Cell events for more than a decade.
