Bob is a Professor of Learning and Teaching with a PhD in Public Health Engineering and 30+ years experience in Higher Education.  He led the successful Silver Athena SWAN application for the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment (2020) and was a core team member of the successful Silver GCU Institution application.  Bob was Principal Investigator of the Award Winning (AdvanceHE CATE 2019) PEETS project (Promoting Excellence in Employability and Transversal Skills)- a 3 year multidisciplinary and multicultural “Best practice” Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership (SP).  He is a trained assessor of AdvanceHE CATE applications and has published widely on initiatives that facilitate the development of employability skills and attributes in students from diverse backgrounds.
