It is a dream come true to participate as a Judge for the 10th edition of QS Reimagine Education Awards. I understand the worth of the award for the globe as the leading higher education institutions and Ed-Tech companies are the participants in this award. I myself was the project director for the 2017 edition of the award while working with Gulf Medical University, UAE. Fortunately, among many entries, our project own the Middle East Gold and Silver awards. This motivated me a lot. I am really happy to be a part of this judging panel among the best academicians of many reputed world universities and organizations. While evaluating the projects, I will be strictly adhering to the judging process and guidelines and prove my worth as a judge of value.
Prof. Dillip, a Ph. D in Health Quality Management, M.Phil in Educational
Technology, Master in Business Management, Master in Population Education and
Educational Measurement and Evaluation, and Masters in English Literature, is an alumnus of Ravenshaw
University and Utkal University, India. With
his three decades of teaching, research, and administrative experience he has accumulated
a dedicated interest in Global Higher Education, specifically, in the areas of
access, quality, equity, sustainability, and inclusion. At present, he is positioned
as a Senior Consultant, at Nucleus University of Medical and Dental Sciences,
Aruba/Canada. Immediately before, he worked as Director-Institutional Research
and Planning at Gulf Medical University (GMU), UAE. In the past three decades,
he held several senior executive positions as, Director- Strategic Planning,
Accreditation, ERP, and Dean of Faculty, at some reputed universities, in India,
rated A Grade by NAAC. He has experience as a member of the University Court,
BoG, University Council, and Academic Council of universities. Along with his leadership
role, he has been very active in teaching and research and produced a few Ph. Ds
under his supervision. He has 117 Research Papers available online. Dr.Dillip
has immensely contributed to institutional projects related to Quality
Assurance, Academic Rankings, Benchmarking, Risk Management, Accreditation, and
Strategic Planning. A few of his successful projects are the achievement of International
Accreditation for MBBS, BBMS, and PharmD Programs from WFME (USA), ACP (USA), and
IBM(London) for GMU, UAE. He was the Chief
Coordinator QS Star University Rated for Excellence, where GMU received- 5-star
Status, from QSIU-London, in 2017, Team Leader SKEA, and DQAA organizational
Quality and Excellence Award, where GMU received both Gold and Silver awards
from the Govt. of UAE in 2016. Also, he
was the chief coordinator of the Wharton Reimagine Education project for GMU
where the university was awarded in the Gold and Silver Category, for its AI-based
project Virtual Medical Education of GMU in the USA in 2017. Another achievement
of Dr. Dillip was under his leadership GMU received the TIMES Higher Education
Asia Award for organizational Excellence in 2019. He visited 21 countries and participated in
many international conferences organized by QS and THE since 2014.
