Dr. LEENA JAMES is the Director of the Sustainability Centre at Christ University, Bangalore, and a Professor of Management of School of Business & Management.  As a researcher and academician touched the lives of thousands of students, scholars, and clients from different walks of life. She is an Environmentalist, and Sustainability anchor.

She has done many major and minor Research Projects in Sustainability, Gender Equality and Corporate Governance. She has organized many national and international Conferences, Webinars, workshops, and FDPs at Christ University and given many keynote addresses in different research forums across the globe. This year she was the Chair of the International Sustainability Conference organized by the Deanery of Management in collaboration with Petra Christian University, Indonesia held between July 21 – 23,2022. Based on her accomplishments in the field of CSR and Sustainability has been invited as the Speaker for Global Sustainability Summit in Germany in November 2022.  She has recently received the ‘World Youth Leadership Award for Sustainability ‘ at the16th Global  Peace Summit in Colombo Sri Lanka on  October 2^nd 2023 and received it from the former Sri Lankan President .

She is a passionate Researcher, Environmentalist, Social worker, and Motivational Speaker. Invited as a Keynote speaker and Resource person for many national and international conferences in the areas of   CSR, Sustainability, Corporate Governance, and Gender Equality. An active member of many environmental and social organizations in Bangalore and currently the Secretary of Bangalore Environmental Club. She is a Board member of many Management institutes across India. She has memberships in many professional bodies. Life member of the Indian Accounting Association and active member of the Academy of HRD (Asia Chapter), AHRD, Indian Management Association, and Institute of Directors, India.
