I am a Political scientist with a master’s degree in Political Sciences and a master’s degree in international cooperation and development for Latin America. I have experience and relevant work in quality assurance, management, and internationalization of higher education in Colombia and Latin America for over 10 years.

I´ve worked in public and private organizations such as the Colombian Ministry of Education, COLCIENCIAS, the National Accreditation Council, and Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina, leading projects and contributing to the achievement of institutional goals in different roles such as quality assurance and internationalization advisor (CNA and Ministry), head of the international and cooperation office (Ministry) and director of international affairs (Areandina). I´m currently the Dean of the School of Management and Economics at Areandina, Colombia.

I´ve participated as an Author of chapters in journals and books related to internationalization and quality assurance in higher education, having the opportunity to be shared in different academic conferences around the world.

I am a former scholar of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) supported by the US government and the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program run by the Canadian Government.
