Dr. Gabriela Geron is the Director of Partnerships, Innovation, and Communications at the University Miami Hemispheric & Global Affairs where she develops strategies and key initiatives to build global partnerships. She is also part of the Hemispheric University Consortium Secretariat where she coordinates different initiatives in education, research, and innovation and is responsible of the consortium’s operations. Her research is focused on how technology supports the international competitiveness of higher education institutions and helps their students succeed, participating actively in international research groups related to information systems, accreditations and rankings, student mobility, entrepreneurship, educational innovation, lifelong learning, and STEM initiatives.
