Dr. Hasanain received his (M.B.Ch.B) from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. Then gained Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Community Health from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). Also, he did a Fellowship at the United Nations University (UNU-IIGH). He was a senior Lecturer at UKM from 2013-2015. Associate Professor at Community Medicine Department, International Medical School (MSU) (2016-2020). He had more than 130 published articles in peer-reviewed journals 76 of them in SCOPUS indexed journals. Currently, He is an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean at the College of Nursing, Al-Bayan University, Iraq.
