Prof Tairab is currently working as a professor of science education at UAE University, with a responsibility of teaching science education related courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels in addition to his supervisory role of MEd and PhD theses and dissertations. Prof Tairab has published and presented science education research on issues of teaching and learning in various international journals and professional meetings. Prof Hassan Tairab assumed administrative academic roles as department chair, Dean of Education, and currently as Director of PhD programs at the college of Education. Prof Tairab is currently a chair/member of a number of national committees and works as a consultant and as a reviewer for a number of research foundations and national and regional educational awards.
