Prof. John Zvereff has devoted his  professional career to the higher education and cultural/arts sectors.

A staunch proponent of internationalisation in higher education, Mr. Zvereff has been the University of Andorra Rector’s Delegate for internationalisation (2017 to date), Secretary General of the Network of Universities of Small Countries and Territories (NUSCT; 2018-05/2023), and Rector’s Delegate for Internationalisation at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain; 2008-2016). Before entering the higher education sector, John Zvereff was Secretary General of the International Council of Museums (ICOM, Paris, France), CEO of the Museum of Contemporary Art, MACBA, Barcelona), Executive Director of the Institute of North American Studies (Barcelona), Director of the American Language Center (Tangier, Morocco), first director of the American Legation Museum of Tangier (Tangier), and lecturer of ESL (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).

 Prof. Zvereff did his undergraduate work at Georgetown University (BS in Languages and Linguistics) and graduate work at Rutgers University for a PhD in Italian Literature (incomplete).
