Associate Professor Dr. Mazni Omar has dedicated over 20 years of service to UUM and teaches at the School of Computing. She holds professional certifications in Software Testing, specifically CTFL and CTFL-AT. Her research focuses on software engineering, with a particular interest in agile project management, software process, software quality, and data mining. She has published numerous articles in well-regarded journals, proceedings, and book chapters. Additionally, she has secured research grants from various sources, including the university, national and international bodies, and industry grants. She has also collaborated on research with other Asian universities, including Indonesia and Pakistan. She actively participates in Erasmus+CBHE Projects involving Asian and European Universities. Her research interests span multiple disciplines, including computing and social sciences applications related to human aspects of software engineering. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she has extensive experience managing, planning, implementing, and monitoring activities related to the university's strategic agenda, such as strategic planning, higher education ranking and rating, academic accreditation, and data quality.
