A seasoned media professional with over eight years of industry experience in various roles, including photography, graphic design, video editing, cinematography, direction, and producing. In 2010, a transition to academia was made, leading to becoming a pedagogy expert on e-learning. Collaborations with multiple development agencies and government organizations on e-learning course module development, video productions, and research projects resulted in a reputation as a highly sought-after e-learning expert in academia and industry. Research interests span education, e-learning, new media, community media, and film studies, all of which are aimed to be incorporated into impactful and innovative e-learning experiences.

Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain is an e-learning expert, Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Assistant Professor at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. He has introduced innovative teaching techniques to the Department of Media Studies and Journalism since 2012. In recognition of his contributions, the university honored him with the Vice Chancellor Award of Excellence in 2017.

 

He has a Ph.D. in E-learning Methodology and expertise in film studies, community media, new media, and development communication. As an expert in e-learning, he has collaborated with numerous government and development agencies on several projects. These include the development of e-learning course modules, video productions, and research initiatives. His extensive knowledge makes him an in-demand expert for e-learning projects in both academic and industrial settings.
