Mohd Noor Ismawi Ismail is a Senior Lecturer from the Department of Hotel Management, Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. He is currently a doctoral researcher at the same institution. He obtained both a Diploma in Hotel Management (2004) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Hotel Management (2006) from Universiti Teknologi MARA with the Vice Chancellor Award. He then was awarded the Young Lecturer Scheme Scholarship from UiTM to further his study and graduated from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom with MSc. in International Hotel Management with distinction in the year 2009. He has published a few papers on international conference proceedings and chapters in the book. His research interests are in the area of Hospitality Technology, Hotel Operation, and Hospitality Service Marketing. He is also involved in various consultancy and short-term research projects with government agencies as well as the private sector.

He holds Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics - CHIA recognized by the American Hotel & Lodging Association since January 2018.

Currently, he is the Executive Committee Member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association PATA Malaysia Chapter representing UiTM for two terms starting 2021 till 2025.

He was the Co-Opted EXCO (2020-2022) and was appointed as Executive Secretary of the Tourism Educators Association of Malaysia TEAM for the 2016 - 2018 and 2018-2020 terms.
