Dr. Nor Aishah is a senior lecturer at the Department of Science and Technology Studies, Universiti Malaya. Dr. Nor Aishah teaches courses such as Logic & Critical Thinking and Critical Thinking for Sustainability. Her research interest is exploring, harnessing, and developing cognitive skills concerning sustainable development. She won a Gold Medal Award at the International Learning Improvement & Teaching Enhancement Conference (LITEC 2020), in which her research team explored the potential of gamification in enhancing students’ academic performance. One of her publications ‘ Factors affecting undergraduate’s academic performance during Covid 19: Fear, Stress and Teacher-Parents Support’, has discovered the importance of teachers’ support in students’ academic performance. She involved with various campus sustainability initiatives ever since she was a student, a member of the UM Water Warriors – a campus sustainability living lab that focuses on participatory watershed conversation. Dr. Nor Aishah is a Foundation for Critical Thinking, USA member.
