Olivia Kew-Fickus has an international track record as a higher education strategist and thought leader. She is currently the Chief Data Officer at Vanderbilt University in the USA, where she has built a sector-leading data and analytics practice. Previously, she was Director of Strategic Planning at the University of Birmingham in the UK, where she also served on the executive committee of the Higher Educational Strategic Planning Association. She has experience in strategic projects and communications, research administration, business development, and international training programs. Olivia began her career working in international development, including several years in Ukraine. She holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Leicester.
