Academic experience includes teaching Philosophy of Law, Theory of Law, Natural Law, and Ethics at the Law School of Universidad de Piura.

Paolo Tejada currently holds the position of Academic Vice President at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima, Peru, with over 19 years of experience in the education sector at the university level. He is also well-versed in educational innovation, mainly through digital platforms. In addition, he serves as a university principal professor, lawyer, philosopher, and is recognized as a national and international speaker on topics related to education, ethics, and human rights. Furthermore, he also teaches at the Judiciary School of Peru

His education background includes obtaining his undergraduate degree in Law in 1997 from Universidad Católica del Perú. In 2015, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Culturally Motivated Crimes by Members of Indigenous and Native Populations in Latin America" at Università degli Studi Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy. In 2004, he earned his PhD in Moral Theology from the University of Navarra, Spain with his dissertation on "New Perspectives of Virtue in Contemporary Morality," achieving the distinction of Summa cum laude.

Paolo has served as a Research Director at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola from January 4th, 2021, to May 31st, 2022, where he oversaw various research and innovation projects and introduced a dissertation style based on scientific research, allowing students to earn their degrees through publication.

Additionally, Paolo created and developed research policies at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, which have been in effect since 2021. In 2016, he took on the role of Director of the Academic Department of Law at Universidad de Piura, where he developed the New Study Law Program in 2016.

Paolo has also researched and published different subjects such as Public Administration Corruption in Peru in 2018 and an exploration of the historical application of the death penalty in Peru in 2020.

From September 2019 to December 2020, Paolo served as an advisor to the Cabinet of Advisors of the Presidency at the Supreme Court in Peru. Furthermore, from March 9th to December 11th, 2020, he served as a member of the work team responsible for drafting the organic law of the Peruvian Judicial System.
