Dr. Reynaldo Vea is currently the Chairman and CEO of iPeople, Inc., an education company that has seven schools as subsidiaries.  He just recently ended his 23-year tenure as the President and CEO of the Mapua University.

Dr. Vea currently represents the Philippines in the ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework Committee. He is a member of an ADB Technical Assistance Team supporting the Indonesian Cyber Education Institute.

Dr. Vea is a former S & T Committee Chairman of the UNESCO Philippine National Commission and a former Philippine Fulbright Commission Director.  

Dr. Vea has a PhD in Engineering from UC Berkeley, an SM in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from MIT and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of the Philippines.
