Dr Senthil Kumar Arumugam is an Associate Professor of Professional Studies department, Christ University, Central Campus, Bangalore.  His areas of specialisation are Finance, Human Resource Management and Computer Programming and Applications in Business.  He secured a PhD degree in Commerce from Bharathiar University, India, in 2014, and completed his M.Phil in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2003 and M.Phil in Computer Science from Periyar University in 2007.  He got a Master of Commerce degree from Bharathiar University in 2001 and a Master of Computer Application degree from Bharathidasan University in 2005. He has qualified in the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, India, in 2012.  He has 23 years of teaching, research, and admin experience in the Commerce and Computer Application fields.  He is an author of 60 research articles, including 6 edited book, 8 book chapters and 21 articles in Scopus indexed journals belong to a different discipline. He received 6 Best Paper awards for research articles. He received three awards, namely "NPTEL Enthusiast - 2019" and "NPTEL Discipline Star – 2019" and “NPTEL Believer 2021” from NPTEL-SWAYAM, IIT Madras, Ministry of HRD, India.  He has presented 55 research papers at International and National Conferences.  He is an Executive editorial member in six peer-reviewed journals.  He has organised two International and seven National level conferences and acted as a resource person in various workshops/conferences. He has guided more than 200 students' research projects in UG/PG/M.Phil. Programmes and currently guiding 4 PhD research scholars in Christ University, Bangalore.
