Dr Stephen Teo is a Professor of International HRM in Newcastle Business School. Prior to joining NBS, he was a professor of work and performance and Vice Chancellor's professorial research fellow in the School of Business and Law, at Edith Cowan University, Australia. Professor Teo has worked in Australia and New Zealand and has held various Faculty-based academic leadership roles. He has also lectured in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia and Thailand.  In 2004, Dr Teo was awarded a Vice-Chancellor Teaching Award at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a national Australian Learning and Teaching Council citation in 2007 for ‘sustained contributions in practise-based, research-led curriculum and assessment design to provide Business graduates with work ready competencies in HRM’.
