Afshan Younas

Dr. Afshan Younas is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Studies at Arab Open University, Sultanate of Oman. She has completed her Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance. She has completed an MBA (Distinction) and MSC in Economics. She has 20 years of teaching experience at graduate and post-graduate levels. She has participated in various conferences as a reviewer, member, organizer, and presenter. She has delivered invited lectures at several events. She is currently working on aligning the quality framework in her department.
Her research focuses on Accounting, Finance, Corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and Economics. She has published several research papers in referred journals and is currently involved in developing a CSR Index research grant through MOHERI. Additionally, she has served as an editor, reviewer, and advisory member for various conferences and journals. She is a member of the Certified Management and Business Educator by the Chartered Association of Business Schools UK. She is an Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants.
