Associate Professor at the Department of Social Psychology at the Psychology Institute of the University of São Paulo (USP), where he is a master's and doctorate advisor, postdoctoral supervisor, and coordinator of the research group on Psychology and Ethnic-Racial Relations. He develops teaching, research, and extension activities in intercultural and race-ethnicity areas with an emphasis on the themes of diversity, human rights, prejudice and discrimination, community health planning, psychosocial technologies of intervention, and monitoring and evaluation of social programs/projects. He is an associate researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEA) and the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (NEPAIDS) at USP. He collaborates with the international exchange between the Institute of Psychology at USP and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He collaborates also with the Future 17 The Sustainable Development Goals Challenge Program of the University of Exeter and QS Impact. He was an advisor to the USP Mental Health Office (2019-2021), president of the Postgraduate Coordinating Committee at the Psychology Institute (2018-2020), professor at the São Paulo School of Sociology and Politics (2004 -2010), and visiting professor at the Federal University of Rondônia (2013-2018), Federal University of Pará (2016) and the College of Liberal Arts, University of Texas-Austin (2018).
