I am Dr. Angen May Fabro-Charcos, currently serving as an Associate Professor V at Cebu Technological University-Tuburan. I completed my AB-English degree at the University of Cebu-Main Campus in 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Teaching English at the same institution in 2012. I earned my first doctorate at CTU-Main Campus in 2014 and my second doctorate, a Ph.D. in English with a major in Literature, in 2019.

I have presented papers at various local, national, and international conferences. My paper titled "Bisrock Music in Teaching Cebuano Folk Literature" won the Best Paper award at the Graduate School Forum at the University of Cebu Graduate School in 2012 and was later presented at the Comparative Education Society of Hong Kong (CESHK) Annual Conference at the Chinese University in Hong Kong in 2013. Another study, "Form and Contents in Adonis Durado’s Poesy: Integrated Teaching Guide," was awarded Best Paper in its session during the International Conference on Arts, Literature, Humanities, and Social Sciences in September 2017.

In addition to conference presentations, I have published papers in peer-reviewed and reputable journals. My research interests encompass language and literature, education, professional subjects, and the social sciences. I have also been involved in international guest lectures, both in-person and online, as well as in Inbound Teaching Mobility and Global Engagement initiatives. Recently, in November 2023, I served as a visiting lecturer in the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business, at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia. In 2024, I was an online resource speaker for the International Talk on Development under the Undergraduate Program of Development Studies at ITS, Surabaya, Indonesia.
