Dr. Asuncion P. Pabalan is a seasoned academic professional with over 35 years of experience in education. She currently serves as the Director of Planning, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management at Holy Name University, where she ensures the quality and accreditation of the university's educational programs. Dr. Pabalan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision, both from Holy Name University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City.     

    Throughout her career, Dr. Pabalan has held various teaching and administrative positions, demonstrating her expertise in classroom instruction, supervision, and strategic planning. Her dedication to fostering learning environments is evident through her numerous roles, including Professor of Graduate Studies and Subject Area Chair. Dr. Pabalan's contributions to education have been recognized with several awards, including the 2021 Global Leaders and Educators Award for Excellence in Leadership, Most Inspiring Teacher of the Philippines in 2016, and Most Outstanding Supreme Student Adviser in 2012.

    She has also published extensively on topics such as school culture and educational management, and actively participates in professional development and socio-civic activities. One of the significant community involvements is her being a staff of the Family and Life Apostolate of the Diocese of the Tagbilaran.
