An
experienced and enthusiastic education and business leader, leadership expert,
scholar and author. Chris has over 24 years of teaching, learning and leadership
experience in business, executive education and Universities. His teaching and
learning expertise includes global accreditations;
design and delivery of international programmes; innovating and improving student
experience; evaluating and maintaining quality and standards; and teaching modules
on leadership and responsibility.
As Director of \teaching Chris is a member of the senior leadership team of the
Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Lancaster University Management School. Previously, as Associate Dean for
Education in LUMS (2019-2023) Chris was a member of the senior leadership team
of Lancaster University during the pandemic. His leadership experiences at Lancaster include directing the Lancaster MBA and Executive MBA programmes
(2010-2019). Chris is also an alumni of Lancaster having completed a Lancaster MBA (1999),
a Master of Philosophy in Critical Management (2003) and a PhD in Leadership
and Management (2024). External leadership experience include being a member of
the Office for Students Quality Improvement Committee; an accreditation panel
member for the Association of MBAs; an external examiner for the Durham
University; and a Member of the Parochial Church Council of St Peters,
Halliwell. Previously he held a strategic leadership role as a Non-executive Director
and Audit Committee Chair of Bolton at Home. Chris is a teacher, speaker,
facilitator, programme designer and researcher on responsible leadership, leading,
decision making and corporate responsibility.
