I'm a passionate educator motivated by innovation in the education experience. All of my academic career has been focused on finding new ways to engage learners, new ways to teach curriculum, and ways to innovate the student experience. My philosophy is 'if it isn't broken, then fix it anyway'. By bringing new ideas we drive better learning outcomes.
Dr Colin Higgins is Professor of Management in the Deakin Business School and Associate Dean International & Partnerships in the Faculty of Business & Law at Deakin University. He has led a number of course, School, and university level innovations including micro-credentials, innovative global partnerships, assessment innovations, and innovations to program structures. As a senior Faculty, he publishes widely on sustainability reporting matters, and is Co-Editor-in-chief of 'Business & Society'. He has just completed a term as Program Chair and Division Chair of the Academy of Management.
