Donnie Adams is currently a lecturer in Educational Leadership at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. Previously, he served as the Director of the Centre for Research in International and Comparative Education (CRICE) at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his PhD in Educational Leadership from Universiti Malaya under the Bright Sparks scholarship, and was awarded Universiti Malaya’s Excellence Award 2016: PhD Completion in Less than 3 Years. He was recently awarded the Emerald Young Researcher Award 2021 by Emerald Publishing and Universiti Malaya’s Excellence Service Award 2023. He is actively involved in research and development work in the area of inclusive school leadership, and school-wide reformation of the inclusive education agenda. He has led research projects with the Malaysian Ministry of Education, and Teach for Malaysia; Department of Education, Philippines; The HEAD Foundation, Singapore; Ministry of Education, Maldives; ETH Zürich, Switzerland; British Council, UK; Asian Universities Alliance; and UNICEF. Recently, he was listed by Britishpedia as one of the ‘Successful People in Malaysia’ in the field of Education.
