Dr Rose Anne Cuschieri is presently Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. She is also a part-time lecturer and tutor in Leadership, Management, Interpersonal Skills and stress management.  She is the author of several articles in both local and foreign educational and management journals and books and has written and presented several refereed papers in different prestigious conferences both locally and abroad.

She is the Malta representative on the CDEDU, the Steering Committee for Education within the Council of Europe, and she is also part of the Working Group on the Democratic Mission of HE.  She is the local representative of the Bologna Follow Up Group and Co-Chair of the BFUG Working Group on Fundamental Values in Education, the local representative of ASEM and EPAN.  She is also a bureau member of the EWC (European Wergeland Centre, Norway).
