Dr. Farah Mohamad Zain is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Technology at School of Education, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She has graduated both her Master’s Degree and Ph.D in Educational Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2010 and 2016. She has served Universiti Utara Malaysia as an academician since 2017. She has managed to involve in 19 research grants (7 as Principal Investigator, 12 as Co-investigator) funded by university, national and international grant.  Her research areas and interest include digital content development, instructional technology, scholarship of teaching and learning and augmented reality. She has extensive experience in digital content development (video production, editing, narrating, interactive content, etc) and also has obtained several Innovation Competition Awards and has owned 20 copyrights. She also experiences in several university administration posts as Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coordinator (2020-2021), Manager of Special Task at the Corporate Planning Division (2022), Postgraduate Coordinator (2023) and Deputy Dean (2024-present).
