Friederike, who holds a PhD from the Sydney Medical School, is a social scientist and practitioner specialising in equity, diversity, and inclusion. With a background in academic and professional roles within the higher education and not-for-profit sectors, she brings extensive experience to her current position. As a former educator, researcher, and project manager, she now leads initiatives focused on evidence-based and evidence-building practices in gender-based violence and social harm prevention. Additionally, she serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of the Australian and New Zealand Student Services Association (JANZSSA), an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal.
