Gagan Deep Sharma is a Professor in Management at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India. He is the Project Director (Corporate Social Responsibility); incharge of the University School of Fire & Industrial Safety; and director of the Atal Incubation Centre of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India. Besides, he is Associate Director, Office of International Affairs of the University.

Prof. Sharma is a visiting Professor at Széchenyi István University, Győr, Hungary; and University Of Łódź, Łódź, Poland. He has been awarded Post-Doctoral fellowship from the Lebanese American University, Beirut, Lebanon.

Having a Doctorate in Management and Masters in Philosophy and Commerce, Prof. Sharma has an academic experience of over twenty years. He has published more than 85 SCOPUS papers that have been cited more than 5600 times, with an h-index of 38, and i-10 index of 72. His cumulative impact factor is above 450. He is the editor/guest editor with journals of repute including Resources Policy, Venture Capital, Heliyon, Social Sciences and Humanities Open, etc. Besides, he sits on the expert committee of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, for its scheme on Women incubators.

In addition, Prof. Gagan Deep Sharma is a prominent Punjabi Poet awarded by the Sahitya Akademi (National Academy of Letters, India) for his collection of poems.
