Haya is a distinguished academic and thought leader in the field of entrepreneurship, currently serving as a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director of the EMBA Signature Learning Experience at Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) in Saudi Arabia. Her award-winning research, funded by leading international organizations, explores the intersection of entrepreneurship and empowerment and their combined impact on sustainable development.
Haya has designed and implemented entrepreneurship training programs that have reached over six million participants worldwide. She is an Associate Editor for leading entrepreneurship journals and serves as an advisor to several global centers for entrepreneurship education, research, and policy. Additionally, she is a recognized reviewer and evaluator of business and entrepreneurship programs in higher education.
As a co-founder and co-chair of the Gender and Enterprise
Network and its regional affiliate, the Middle East and North Africa Gender and
Enterprise Network (MENAGEN), Haya has made significant contributions to supporting
entrepreneurship scholarship. Before joining MBSC in 2019, she held academic
positions in the United Kingdom and the United States, including being a Senior
Fulbright Scholar in Residence.
