With over 21 years in education & Ed-Tech, I have led strategic initiatives at top schools & Ed-Tech cos. like JAGSoM, Edureka, IMT Ghaziabad & MICA, enhancing e-learning, upskilling in emerging tech & hybrid learning. My roles included SBU leadership, business strategy, strategic partnerships, demand generation, brand management, strategic marketing and communication, ranking-accreditations, curriculum enhancement & pedagogical innovations.
Currently,
I serve as the Chief of Staff at the Jagdish Sheth School of Management
(JAGSoM), Bangalore, where I collaborate with the Director to develop and
implement strategic initiatives. My role involves overseeing day-to-day
operations, liaising between the Director and external entities, providing
insights into decision-making, and representing the institution at various
events. My responsibilities also include developing and implementing MarComm
strategies and leading the MarComm teams, Rankings, MIS, and project management
ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
Prior to
this role, I was the Assistant Director – Business at EC-Council, Bangalore,
where I was responsible for business development in the domain of cybersecurity
for the IMEA region. Despite the brief tenure, I contributed to the company's
strategic growth in cybersecurity solutions.
At Edureka,
Bangalore, I held two key positions. As the Business Head of Edureka Learning
Centers (physical centers offering hybrid course in emerging tech), I built a
network of over 150 franchisees, achieving operational breakeven and
profitability. As the Associate Vice President – Strategic Partnerships, I
drove the strategic partnerships function, forging new partnerships and
strengthening existing ones with academic institutions and corporations. I
played a crucial role in developing and executing online programs in AI-ML,
data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
My tenure
at IFIM Business School (now JAGSoM) as the Chief Enabler – Strategic Marketing
& Communication was marked by significant achievements in improving the
applicant pool and brand perception. I successfully achieved 100% placement for
two consecutive years. Before this, as the Marketing Lead at Institute of
Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, I increased MBA program applicants by
30% and achieved a 200% increase in Executive MBA admissions.
During my
time at Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), I managed doctoral
and postgraduate programs, leading initiatives that increased the applicant
pool by over 100%. My role involved demand generation, learner acquisition,
program administration, curriculum enhancement, and fostering industry-academia
linkages.
My educational background includes an Advanced Diploma in Management from All India Management Association, an M.Phil. in Public Administration, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts from Jiwaji University Gwalior. I also hold various certifications from esteemed institutions like Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), MICA Ahmedabad, Google, IAB Europe, Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs India, and UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE).
