Prof. Dr. Jolly Jacob is currently the Chair of the Department of Applied Sciences and Professor of Chemistry at Abu Dhabi University, UAE. She has been teaching at the university level for over thirty years. Before joining Abu Dhabi University in 2010, Dr. Jolly held the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at the affiliated college of the University of Mumbai. Dr. Jolly holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai and SFHEA from UK Higher Education Academy . With extensive experience in the field of Chemistry, she has a strong academic record and possesses a gold medal for her M.Phil. Additionally, she has published over 90 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals with high impact factors. In addition, she serves on the board of the UAE chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and on several editorial boards of reputed international journals. In addition to having presented papers at several international conferences, she has served as editor on the editorial boards and member of the organizing committee of several international conferences.

She received the Middle East Education Leadership Award 2016 for the Best Professor in Chemistry and the Women Excellence Award for her outstanding contributions to Science in 2018. Abu Dhabi University has awarded her with the Distinguished Faculty Award and Excellence Awards for Teaching, Research, and Service. Dr. Jolly received the UAE Golden Visa for her contributions.
