I am presently the Adjunct Director for the EPICS Purdue program in India where my duties and responsibilities include:

·       Work closely with Program Director Dr. William (Bill Oakes) to promote the EPICS program with universities in India

·       Support faculty champions at universities offering EPICS programs

 

Meanwhile for almost two decades I have supported the Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) as the Director of Operations in India, reporting to the Founder of the program, Dean Emeritus Prof. Krishna Vedula from U Mass Lowell. My responsibilities in this position cover the following:

·       Conceptualizing the branding and engagement activities of IUCEE in India.

 

·       Planning, program managing and execution of activities in Engineering Schools/Universities associated with IUCEE in India.

 

·       Monitoring &follow up of all Industry Academia Collaborations.

 

·       Monitoring the overall functioning of initiatives, identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate measures to maximize effectiveness of programs.

 

·       Coordinating with MNC’s for promoting center of excellence setups in IUCEE network.

 

·       Identifying and implementing strategies for building connections between USA Universities, Industry and academia for promoting research & grand challenges

 

·       Building partnership between USA universities and IUCEE members

 

Finally for the past seven years I have been serving as an Adjunct Director for ABET in India with the following responsibilities:

·       Promoting ABET accreditation activities in India including workshops, webinars and training

·       Support schools in India interested in seeking ABET accreditation for their programs
