Versatile educational program management professional with over 20 years of success launching and growing educational programs in the non-profit and higher education sectors. 

As the Assistant Director of Global Partnerships and Support, Mr. Paquette provides support to BU faculty, staff and students conducting educational, research, service, or other academic activities abroad.  He also serves in key positions of strategic planning and project management, working with colleagues across Global Programs and the University. 

Prior to joining Global Programs, Mr. Paquette of Interantional Programs and Partnerships at Tufts University.  In that capacity, he was responsible for supporting the development and implementation of various international programs that included ELL programs, short-term abroad and faculty-led programs, and customized inbound summer and winter programs.  Mr. Paquette has devoted his professional career to international programs and has extensive experience working with NGOs and international consultancy firms.

Mr. Paquette received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Fairfiled University and an International Master of Arts in Russia Studies from European University at St. Petersburg, Russia. Mr. Paquette is currently a member of NAFSA: Associate of International Educator and has been a member of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) and Diversity Abroad.  He loves to travel and has visited more than 25 countries for both work and pleasure. His favorite city in the world in Kanazawa, Japan.
