Khalid Al-Hagla is a distinguished architect and urban designer who serves as a professor of urban design at the Department of Landscape Architecture, College of Architecture and Planning, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. With a rich academic background, he previously held a professorship in urban design at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, where he was instrumental in founding the Alexandria University Centre of Excellence for Smart Urban Governance (ALEXU-CoE-SUG).

Professor Al-Hagla has also been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture - Design & Built Environment, Beirut Arab University. His research focuses on urban development, local community development, and urban governance. His leadership abilities were showcased during his tenure as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University. From 2000 to 2003, he served as a Consultant for the Engineering Department at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Khalid Al-Hagla is a renowned architect and urban designer who currently holds a professorship in urban design at the Department of Landscape Architecture within the College of Architecture and Planning, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Professor Al-Hagla has an extensive background in academia, having previously served as a professor of urban design at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. During his tenure there, he played a pivotal role as a co-founder of the Alexandria University Centre of Excellence for Smart Urban Governance (ALEXU-CoE-SUG).

In addition to his commitments in Egypt, he has held the position of visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture - Design & Built Environment, Beirut Arab University. His research interests are primarily in urban development, local community development, and urban governance. His administrative capabilities were further demonstrated during his tenure as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University. Between 2000 and 2003, he was also engaged as a Consultant for the Engineering Department at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
