Dr. Maha Fawzy Anber is an Associate Professor of Architecture, specializing in environmental design and energy efficiency in buildings. She has made significant contributions to architectural research, with numerous publications in high-ranking international journals. Dr. Anber currently serves as the Director of the International Relations Office at Shorouk Academy, where she oversees global outreach efforts, facilitates partnerships with foreign institutions, and promotes cross-cultural exchanges to enrich the academic experience.
Her professional journey includes roles such as Director of the Educational Department and Strategic Initiatives at the Engineering Institute for Integrated Development and Technology (EIIDT), and Executive Director of Beyond Engineering and Consultation. She has also served as an adjunct associate professor at the German International University and as an advisory member for curriculum design and development for STEM schools by the US Agency for International Development. Additionally, Dr. Anber has been involved with the International Union for Conservation of Nature and served as the Managing Director of Homebox Designhouse in Malaysia.

She holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from Alazhar University, where her thesis focused on applying energy efficiency systems to buildings in Egypt. She also earned a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University, with a thesis on smart lighting systems in office buildings to reduce carbon emissions. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Helwan University.

She has held various teaching positions, including at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, The Higher Institute of Engineering, Shorouk Academy, and Heliopolis University.
