Senior Lecturer at School of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business and Law. Developed teaching skills through lecturing in twinning programmes.  Was appointed as an Associate of the Faculty of Business, University of Technology Sydney, Australia from 2003 to 2006. 

Lead the programme structure development team for Banking, Finance and Economics programmes under the dual award degrees with University of the West of England and became Programme Director of these programmes from 2012 to 2015.

Won silver medal in International University Carnival on e-Learning, Competition, Ministry of Higher Education, 2022 (Creativity), The Virtual International e-Content Development Competition 2021 20th- 27th AUGUST 2021, Competition, Ministry of Higher Education,2021 (Creativity) and International University Carnival on E-Learning (IEUCL) 2021 "Leading Innovation Towards Digitalized Community", Competition, Ministry of Higher Education, 2021 (Creativity).

The recent completion of PhD in Business sparked the interest in urban studies which resulted in the appointment as Deputy Director of the Livable Urban Communities Impact Lab. 

Dr Malarvilly Ramayah a Malaysian born Indian. Completed all level of education in Malaysia. Has been in the academic sector the last 24 years. From 1995 to 1999 worked as a tutor in Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malay. In 2000 joined Taylor's College under the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) twinning programme for Economics. Privileged with the opportunity to undergo 3 months attachment at UTS. Stayed in Taylor's trough out its transformation from a college to university college and finally university.  The institution has groomed my teaching skills as well as leadership capability.
