Dr. V. Maria Anu obtained her B. Tech Degree from the University of Madras in Information Technology, M.E degree, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. She has published 51 technical papers in various Scopus and WoS-indexed international journals/ conferences. She has 18 years of teaching experience. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Image Processing. She has completed projects funded by UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyan) and TBI-Sathyabama. And currently, she is working on a project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) – Scheme for Young Scientists and Technologists (SYST) 2021 scheme titled “AEDES AEGYPTI MOSQUITO (DENGUE) BREEDING SURVEILLANCE USING DRONES”. As a lifelong learner she received Data Science Domain Scholar, Computer Science Discipline Star and NPTEL motivated Learner from NPTEL. Adding to her credits she has many other roles like Toycathon Judge, SIH Evaluator, Swayam Translator, Subject Matter Expert AICTE SLAP Project, Reviewer, Editor, Session Chair, UHV Coordinator, ADC Convener, Cultural Coordinator, etc.
