With over two decades of
experience in Early Childhood Development (ECD), coupled with a strong background in policy
development, program management, and stakeholder engagement, I am enthusiastic about the
opportunity to contribute my skills and expertise to your team.
Throughout my career, I have achieved significant milestones in advancing educational
initiatives and advocating for marginalized communities. As Director at TREE (Training Resource
in Early Education), I led the implementation of impactful projects such as the Teacher Education
for Early Childhood Care and Education Project (TEECEP), collaborating with civil society
organizations to enhance ECD practitioner qualifications nationwide.
During my tenure as Deputy Director at the Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET), I
spearheaded the development and implementation of the National Policy Framework for
Teacher Education and Development. This initiative underscored my commitment to driving
policy reform and improving educational outcomes on a national scale
