Neil is Executive Dean for Research and International Reputation at Nottingham Trent University, UK.  He has responsibility for the University's international research networks, and development of partnerships.  

He was the founding Head of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University, developing the Department from its outset to a large department operating over two campuses, with over 1000 students.  The Department established research excellence across Medical  and Biomedical Engineering, Net Zero, Digital Communications, Sport Engineering, Advanced Optics and Photonics, Design Engineering.

Neil has worked with researchers and businesses from across the world, and has previously been elected as the President of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, and was Chair of an ISO Standardization Committee.  He is a founding member of the International Comfort Congress Organising Committee.
