Noha H. El-Amary was born in Cairo, Egypt. She received B.Sc., M.Sc., and PhD degrees in electrical engineering, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2000, 2004, and 2009 respectively.

She worked as an associate lecturer from 2004 - 2009, in Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Cairo branch, Egypt. She was an Assistant Professor in AASTMT from May 2009 - 2014. She worked as an Associate Professor in AASTMT from June 2014 – May 2018. She is currently a Professor in AASTMT since June 2018.

She was the coordinator for African and Asian Affairs from 2012 – 2014. She has been the Deputy of the African and Asian Affairs sector since January 2015. Also, she has been the head of the Electrical and Control Engineering Department from September 2020- February 2023. She is currently the Vice-Dean of Training and Community Service since March 2023.

She is an IEEE senior member. She is a member in the CIRED Egypt section. She has many publications nationally and internationally. She supervises many Ph.D. and Master theses in the areas of Power System, Smart grid, Control, Energy management and Renewable Energy.

She has certified “AI Fundamental Certificate” from Microsoft, and “Impact Rater” from Impaakt.

Her special fields of interest include Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in electrical power system stability study, analysis, measurement, and control, smart grids, energy management and renewable energy in power system and maritime applications. Starting from 2016, Noha becomes interested in the field of funded projects with the different global and local benefits. She has shared in preparing different EU funded projects in “ENI CBC MED Programme, Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME), ERASMUS+, Intra-Africa, PRIMA”.
