Prof. Omar Al Jadaan is a distinguished professor in the Department of General Education at Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU), UAE. With a primary academic discipline in computer science, Prof. Al Jadaan has dedicated over three decades to the fields of artificial intelligence, software engineering, and information technology. He has been instrumental in advancing research and education at RAKMHSU since joining the institution in August 2010.

Prof. Al Jadaan's academic journey began at Aleppo University in Syria, where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, majoring in computer and information systems. He furthered his education in India, obtaining a Master of Technology in Computer and Information Sciences from Hyderabad University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University. 

Throughout his career, Prof. Al Jadaan has held various academic and professional positions. At RAKMHSU, he has taught a wide range of courses, including Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Information Technology and Innovation, Health Informatics and Technology, and Biostatistics and Research Methodologies. His commitment to education extends beyond RAKMHSU, having served as an assistant professor at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah and as a teaching assistant at both Osmania University and Aleppo University.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Prof. Al Jadaan has made significant contributions to the academic community through his research. His work has been published in numerous journals and conference proceedings, covering topics such as multi-objective optimization, genetic algorithms, and distributed systems. Notable publications include studies on health-related behaviors among medical students, low-level laser periodontal therapy in diabetic patients, and the impact of physical activity on academic performance among health sciences students.

Prof. Al Jadaan's professional experience includes roles in software development and network administration, particularly during his tenure at the Computer Center of Aleppo University. He also contributed to the SHERN project, funded by the United Nations Development Programme, aimed at connecting Syrian universities.

Fluent in multiple programming languages and proficient in various information technology and computer applications, Prof. Al Jadaan's technical skills are complemented by his authorship of several books and manuals on computer maintenance and software use.

Prof. Al Jadaan holds a Golden Visa in the UAE, reflecting his significant contributions to the academic and professional community.
