Dr. Ons Al-Shamaileh is an Associate Professor of Human-Computer Interaction at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates. She earned her MSc and PhD degrees in E-business Technology and Interactive Systems from the University of Manchester, UK. Before joining Zayed University, Dr. Ons taught at the University of Manchester and Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University and served as the Director of the Information Technology Management program at the American University in the Emirates. Additionally, she is an elected member of the Academic Council at Zayed University. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, and Social Networks. She has also received several research grants.

Beyond her academic roles, Dr. Ons has served as a User Experience consultant for various projects in the UK and UAE. She is a certified EFQM assessor, a UX Master certified by the Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) in London, and a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Ons is also recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
