Enhancing quality of higher education has been of deep interest to me and I always emphasize on innovation in education to make it more meaningful to youth. Democratization of education through technology is one of the major area of my interest. Increasing accessibility to education for masses is one of my major goals. Bridging the gap between Industry and Academia is the area I always focus upon. Hence this opportunity of being a judge at QS Reimagine brings me a sense of fulfillment of duties as a teacher and leadership in education.
Has 39 years of experience in both academia and Industry. It includes both national and International experience. Have published papers in conferences on Improving engineering education and also in technical areas like Digital Twin, IoT and Machine Learning. Have established many academic and Industry labs with Industry orientation. Has Designed many consumer products for USA and Europe Market. Have designed many systems for Indian Industries as Import Substitute. Have been awarded for excellence in education and honorary PhD was conferred by INSS and DBHI Iran.
Have guided many 100s of students for excellence in engineering programme and career.
The area of research are Engineering Education Paradigms, IoT in Healthcare, IoT security and Digital Twins.
