Dr. Rhodora G. Magan is an esteemed Associate Professor V at Cebu Technological University in the Philippines. She holds a Doctor of Arts in Literature and Communication, a Master of Arts in Literature, and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, all from Cebu Normal University. Additionally, she briefly pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of San Carlos before dedicating herself to the field of literature.
Her scholarly pursuits include contemporary literature, island studies, critical race theory, and international relations. Currently, Dr. Magan is among the inaugural cohort of fellows for the prestigious Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship Program, established by O.P. Jindal Global University in India.
Beyond her responsibilities as a tenured faculty member, she is a debate organization adviser and previously the Director of Information, Communication, and Public Affairs and Director of Internationalization and ASEAN Integration.
As a recognized member of the Expert Library of Go Study for Educational Development in China, Dr. Magan is committed to advancing intercultural understanding and communication. She is a prolific author, having written monographs, articles, textbooks, monographs and a novel. She has also delivered lectures at various international forums.
