Associate
Professor Riza Yosia Sunindijo is Deputy Head of School (Research) in the
School of Built Environment, UNSW Sydney, Australia. His research interests are
health and safety, human resource management, and women in construction. He has
published more than 100 scholarly publications and obtained nearly $3 m of
teaching and research grants. He was included in the list of Top 2% Most
Influential Scientists (Single Year) in 2023. He is currently a member of the
Australian Institute of Building and Chartered Institute of Building. Before
entering academia, he worked as Project Engineer, Sustainability Champion, and
Project Manager in multinational construction organisations. In these roles, he
contributed to the construction of numerous large projects, including several
five-star resorts and an international airport.
