Ziyuan (Roger) Ying is a leader in international educational technology innovation with a demonstrated history working on NGOs and Global Social Affairs. Ying has been featured as one of the top 200 Chinese scholars and entrepreneurs contributing insights on China's economy for 2024 by Beijing News.

Ying is the Founder and CEO of Global Dreamer Foundation (DreamerAbroad), with the mission to empower students from all backgrounds to quality education. Global Dreamer is a one-stop recruitment platform for Short-term Study Abroad Programs. Supported by the official University of California Accelerator UC Launch, Global Dreamer Foundation sends hundreds of students abroad every year and is the official partner with 10+ top-100 universities in 5 countries, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, and University College London (UCL). 

Global Dreamer Foundation has been awarded as "2023 Most Influential International Education Company" by Tencent News. 

Ying is the Board of Director and 7th president of the Berkeley China Summit (BCS). The mission of BCS is to encourage bilateral discussion and collaboration between the US and China in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, education, and beyond. Over the past 7 years, we have invited over 150 high-profile speakers, including Nobel Laureates Eric Betzig (2014), William E. Moerner (2014), and Randy Schekman (2013), and Turing Award Winners Richard Karp (1985), David Patterson (2017), and John Hennessy (2017).

Ying has been consistently working for and with NGO institutions including the United Nations Development Program and represented the state of California at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C as a Policy Advocator for United Nations Association (UNA-USA). 

Prior to joining the EdTech industry, Ying worked in multinational technology companies Amazon and Alibaba Group and has extensive experience in Strategy & Operations and International Business Development. 

Ying is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. He was selected as one of the young talents in 2018 Alibaba Global Dreamer Program founded by Jack Ma, and is the judge of Berkeley Haas Startup Seed Fund.
