Vice President of Universidad Lux, an honorary member of the Mexican Academy of Education in Mexico, and cofounder of the International Artificial Intelligence Network of Latin America, Ruth Alejandra Peña Prado has over 10 years of experience. Mrs. Peña stands out for the interculturality of the multiple communities among their students, developing professional skills in their learning process, and conducting to equity, diversity and respect. Mrs. Peña has been working the past decade on the implementation of active methodologies that allows students to learn through practice, making their learning development remarkable. Therefore, she firmly convinced that, through collaborative work, her students can significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of their community.

Born in the city of Monterrey, Ruth Alejandra Peña Prado completed her professional studies in Business Design at CEDIM. She later studied a master's degree in Administration of Educational Institutions at the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a PhD in education at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.

Her work experience has mostly been in the educational field, specifically in the administrative area of ​​college education for the past ten years. Mrs. Peña is the actual Vice President of Universidad Lux, developing the growth of the institution that she represents in a reliable and effective ways, obtaining positive results in its administration and achieving growth in educational quality. She is constantly updated on world-class academic and administrative programs; advised by consultants with international experience in innovation and education.

Mrs. Peña is dedicated to promote research among her students, encouraging them to develop investigation, examination, analysis and exploration.
