Dr. Siham Alhaider is an Associate Professor at King Khalid University's English Department, with expertise in linguistics including theoretical, applied, sociolinguistics, and semiotics. She's dedicated to ethnographic and linguistic landscape studies. Holding a BA in English and an MA in Computer-assisted Language Learning from King Khalid University, she also earned an MA and PhD in Linguistics from the University of Florida. Her administrative experience includes roles as Dean and Department Chair, showcasing her leadership in higher education. In 2022, King Khalid University awarded her the Excellence Award for her contributions to teaching and learning. Dr. Alhaider's professional development is evident from her completion of the Oxford Women's Leadership Development Programme at Saïd Business School in 2020 and her forthcoming Fulbright Scholarship at Arizona State University for 2023-2024. Her passion for Saudi heritage and culture drives her commitment to sustainable preservation projects, reflecting her dedication to cultural education. Dr. Alhaider is recognized for her academic prowess and cultural advocacy.
